To ensure that websites operated by Sawai Group companies are accessible to everyone, including seniors and people with disabilities, we strive to meet the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) conformance level AA standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium.

2. Target Conformance Level and Degree of Compatibility
Compliant with W3C WCAG 2.1 conformance level AA
Note: The term “compliant” in this Web Accessibility Policy is based on the terminology defined in the “JIS X 8341-3:2016 Guidelines for Indicating Degree of Compatibility for Web Content - April 2021 Edition” by the Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee of the Info-Communications Access Council.
Given the purpose of the website, “Otona no Shinkei Hattatsu Sho.jp” (Adult Neurodevelopmental Disorders.jp) and “Sawai Health Promotion Department” is already aiming for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

As part of an ongoing effort to improve web accessibility, websites operated by Sawai Group companies will undergo regular testing and the results will be published. We will also focus on guideline establishment and training so that Web accessibility can be addressed from the production stage.

5. Standards Unable to Be Attained, Issues Identified and Approach for Addressing Them
- There are some areas where the video subtitles and audio description are insufficient.
- The contrast ratio of the image is insufficient, making the text difficult to distinguish in some places.
- There are some places where alternative text and descriptions of actions, such as images and opening and closing modals, are lacking.
We will continue, through planned page updates, to address these identified issues as they come.
In addition, although some of the issues involve an external text-to-speech service (ReadSpeaker webReader*) that contains code beyond our company’s management or control, we will continue to provide this service so that elderly people, people with visual impairments, and those who experience eye strain can comfortably use our web pages.
