1. Acquisition (Collection) and Use of Personal Information

The Company acquires (collects) personal information for the following purposes. If personal information is acquired (collected) for any purposes other than these, the Company will specify the purpose of use and convey this either directly to individuals or via a public announcement. The Company will not use personal information for any purpose other than that specified in advance.

1. Personal information on officers and employees of client companies, organizations, and government agencies
   Carry out communication and information provision related to business of the Sawai Group in Japan.
2. Personal information on shareholders
   Meet obligations stipulated in Japan’s Companies Act and Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, and enable shareholders to exercise their rights.
   Dispatch business reports and other such information.
3. Personal information on job applicants
   Assess candidates, decide who to hire, and contact them.
   Carry out communication and information provision related to hiring and new employee paperwork.
4. Personal information on employees and their families
   Carry out administrative work related to job, salary payment, HR, work evaluation, personal development, welfare, and safety and health.
   Communicate with and provide information to the employee shareholding association, health insurance union, insurance companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
   Submit necessary paperwork and reports to government agencies such as those related to social insurance and labor insurance.
   Carry out communication and other necessary matters in times of emergency.

2. Supervision of Subcontractors

The Company sometimes consigns the processing of personal information to a third party in order to achieve the purpose of use of the personal information. In this case, the Company will supervise the third party to ensure that contractual obligations to properly manage the personal information are met.

3. Shared Use of Personal Information

The Company sometimes shares personal information within the Sawai Group in Japan in the following manner.

1. Types of personal information shared
   History and details of, for example, customer inquiries, complaints, and opinions regarding products and services of the Sawai Group in Japan (including customer name, address, phone number, email address, and other contact information, and name of the product or service)
2. Scope of companies sharing personal information
   Companies in the Sawai Group in Japan listed at the top of the Privacy Policy of the Sawai Group in Japan.
3. What information is used for
   Respond to inquiries, complaints, opinions
   Study ways to improve products and services of the Sawai Group in Japan
4. Party responsible for managing shared personal information
   Sawai Group Holdings Co., Ltd.

4. Procedures for Disclosure or Suspension of Use of Personal Information

We will respect the rights of individuals with respect to personal information, and will respond to requests from individuals for personal information held by us within a reasonable period of time. All requests regarding the Notice of Purpose of Use, disclosure, correction, addition, or suspension (including deletion) of personal information held by us shall be in the form prescribed by us. All procedures are free of charge, but in the event we require a reply by mail in writing, you shall bear the actual postage of 519 yen (84 yen for standard postage plus 435 yen for registered mail).
